Architecture & Trust Transparency
About FetchToolKit
FetchToolKit is an open, browser-first utility platform engineered so that image compression, format conversion, Unicode text analysis, and RFC 8259 JSON validation execute entirely inside your local browser runtime.
1. Three-Tier Client-Side Execution Architecture
Traditional online file converters upload your documents, photographs, and developer payloads to remote cloud servers before returning a processed file. That roundtrip introduces network latency, server queue bottlenecks, and unnecessary data exposure. Every utility published on FetchToolKit is marked isStrictlyLocal: true and executes across three deterministic browser layers:
client-main
Main-Thread Instant APIs
Uses native Intl.Segmenter, TextEncoder, and TextDecoder for sub-millisecond character, word, Base64, and URL transformations.
client-worker
Dedicated Web Workers
Offloads large text files (> 100 KB), 250,000-line deduplication, 10 MB JSON formatting, and image resizing to isolated background threads with 30-second watchdog recovery.
client-wasm
WebAssembly & Canvas Pipeline
Validates binary file magic bytes and header dimensions in the first 64 KB before decoding bitmaps and encoding JPEG, PNG, and WebP locally.
2. How to Verify Our Zero-Upload Guarantee Yourself
You never have to take our privacy claims on faith. You can verify that zero bytes of your files or text leave your device in under 30 seconds using your browser's built-in developer tools:
- 1Open any tool page on FetchToolKit (such as the Image Compressor or JSON Formatter).
- 2Press
F12(orCmd+Option+Ion macOS) and switch to the Network tab. Click the clear icon to empty the request log. - 3Drop an image file or paste a JSON/text payload into the workspace—or even disconnect your Wi-Fi / enable Offline throttling in DevTools after the page has loaded.
- 4Observe that zero HTTP POST/PUT requests are transmitted and the tool completes processing locally using
blob:object URLs in browser memory.
