Technical Specifications & Guardrails
- Supports 9 prose and developer identifier casing modes in a single workspace
- Smart Title Case rules keep minor conjunctions and prepositions lowercase unless first, last, or following a colon
- Identifier boundary parser splits existing camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, and kebab-case tokens cleanly
- Unicode-aware upper and lower casing up to 5 MB in local memory
Practical Example: Converting Database Column Names into TypeScript Properties
- Sample Input
- A list of SQL column names such as user_profile_id, created_at_timestamp, and billing_address_line.
- Verified Local Output
- Transformed into camelCase (userProfileId) or CONSTANT_CASE (USER_PROFILE_ID) with one click.
Operational Limits & Browser Guardrails
Processes plain-text inputs up to 5 MB locally. Developer identifier modes (camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, kebab-case, CONSTANT_CASE) strip non-alphanumeric punctuation and join tokens across lines; use prose modes (UPPERCASE, lowercase, Title Case, Sentence case) to preserve multi-line paragraph punctuation.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does Title Case handle short words like 'and', 'in', or 'of'?
Title Case capitalizes principal words while keeping standard minor words (such as 'a', 'an', 'the', 'and', 'but', 'or', 'for', 'in', 'on', 'to', 'of', 'vs', 'via') lowercase unless they appear at the start or end of a line or immediately follow a colon.
Can I convert camelCase code variables directly into snake_case or kebab-case?
Yes. The identifier tokenizer detects lowercase-to-uppercase and acronym-to-word transitions (such as parseHTMLString -> parse_html_string) as well as spaces, hyphens, slashes, and underscores.
Does Sentence case preserve capitalization after exclamation marks and question marks?
Yes. Sentence case capitalizes the first letter of the document, the first letter after any period, exclamation mark, or question mark followed by whitespace, and the start of each new line.
